A new trailer for the sequel to Deadpool was released today and in it, Ryan Reynolds takes a knock at one of his wife’s earlier films. In cinemas in May, Reynolds makes a less-than-favourable reference to Blake Lively’s 2005 film The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants.

“Doing the right thing is messy, but if you wanna fight for what’s right, sometimes you have to fight dirty,” Deadpool tells his friends. “And that is why Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is pure pornography.”

The full-length trailer comes after 20th Century Fox released a buzzy teaser in February. In the sequel, antihero Deadpool assembles a new team to fight against a new threat; Cable (played by Josh Brolin).

It’s not the first time Reynolds has taken a public swipe at Lively. On her birthday, he wished her well with a photo of the pair of them, only for his wife to be cut off. Lively got her husband back though when his birthday rolled around. “Happy birthday baby” she captioned a picture of Reynolds and Ryan Gosling – of course cutting Reynolds out of the photo.

You’re move, Blake.
