Big Volume And High Shine: Day Two Of The Cannes Film Festival

The French Riviera is truly glittering this week. Playing host to the Cannes Film Festival on Monday, the glamorous resort town was buzzing as a number of events and screenings took place.
The highly-anticipated screening of Tout S’est Bien Passe (Everything Went Fine) saw the likes of Diane Kruger, Andie Macdowell and Candice Swanepoel descend onto the red carpet – and following 12 months confined to our homes, glitter and volume arrived in droves; ruffled shoulders, sweeping trains and embellished busts formed the theme for the red carpet premiere.
The Palais des Festivals also played host to a dinner hosted by Chopard. Bella Hadid continued her ode to old Hollywood glamour on day two with a take on the little black dress, boasting a feathered bust, sheer gloves and some coloured precious stones courtesy of the jewellery giant. Across the city, Chanel invited close friends for an evening soirée. Draped in a navy in silk set and velvet flat mules, it was Tilda Swinton’s ribbon tied across one eye that pulled focus. Marion Cotillard was also in attendance with her third Chanel look of the week.
