Dakota Johnson Took Off A Gucci Robe To Expose A Gucci Bodysuit On The 2022 Met Gala Carpet

Dakota “That’s Not The Truth, Ellen” Johnson is serving up, well, another truth: She and Alessandro Michele are a force to reckoned with. The Gucci designer and Persuasion actress teamed up to personify the Gilded Glamour Met Gala this evening and the result? A silver fringed ruby robe which Johnson took off to reveal a sheer, embellished black jumpsuit.
“We are always inspired by music and rock and roll, so we leaned into the glitz, glamour, and shine of the bodysuit and brought that into the eye,” Johnson’s makeup artist Georgie Eisdell told Vogue.
Johnson of course wrapped filming with first-time director Maggie Gyllenhaal on The Lost Daughter (if you haven’t seen this, you absolutely must. It’s on Netflix) before leaping across sets to work with another powerhouse female director Carrie Cracknell to adapt Jane Austen’s Persuasion for Netflix. While Cracknell has helmed many a production, this will be her debut film.
