It was the first month in the Australian winter and nothing truly warmed my heart more than this Instagram post from Channing Tatum. It read “I took this just days after Jenna and I (mostly Jenna) brought our little girl into the world. I’ve taken many like it over the past 3 years but this is one of my favourites. She was so tired. Haha. But she has such deep strength and other worldly grace. Watching her in those first days transform into a mother was life changing. She was every bit the beautiful, sexy, funny, flawed creature I fell in love with. But the prism turned and showed a whole new light that I had no idea existed, the light of a mothers love. Thank you for that baby. Saw this quote today –” The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother. Theodore Hesburgh” there are a lot of important things in being a father. Who knows what the most important thing is? All I know is that in my case this is pretty high on my list. Love you cake!”

Tatum truly set the bar high for every man you will ever date. If he wasn’t able to pen words this loving, he wasn’t worth it. Upon investigation, there was a second post that could thaw the heart of even Charlie Theron’s Raveena, the Evil Queen. This was captioned, “If it wasn’t for her, I would have never even found the path much less stayed on it and not flown off in flaming truck of dynamite singing devil went down to Georgia. Hahahaha To my light, I love you”.

But then, today happened. And today marks the couple’s seventh wedding anniversary in which the Magic Mike actor wished his wife, fondly known as Cake, a happy seven years. “This woman, 11 years together, 7 married. Happy anniversary Cake. Thanks you baby I love you. Plus you look daaaaaaaaanmm!!!”
