Cardi B and Offset have split less than five months after the birth of their daughter.

The rap couple “grew out of love”, as Cardi explained in a video posted on Instagram.

“I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now,” the Bodak Yellow artist said.

“And we are really good friends and we are really good business partners—and you know he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.”

“It’s nobody fault, it’s just like, I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore,” she said.

Cardi B and Offset married a little over a year ago. They welcomed daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus in July 2018.

Ending her statement, the 26-year-old said:

“I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”

As for Offset, the Migos rapper commented on the post “Y’all won”.

Interpret that as you will.
