South-African-born supermodel Candice Swanepoel has followed in Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio’s well-heeled footsteps and returned to the Victoria Secret brand just mere months after giving birth.
The 28-year-old model welcomed her first child, a son named Anaca, into the world with her partner Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli just eight months ago in October 2016. Today, Swanepoel and the brand posted a video of the earlier modelling in new-season, full-piece lingerie titled “She’s back”. “Crushed it Angel!”, posted Victoria’s Secret creative director Ed Razek. “Happy you’re back! @angelcandices”.
A long-time favourite who first aligned with the VS powerhouse in 2010, Swanepoel made history when she wore the ten-million-dollar fantasy bra in 2013. And despite being pregnant for most if it, in 2016 she ranked 8th on Forbes’ “The World’s Top Earning Models” list with reported earnings of US$7 million.
