Blue Ivy has kicked off the career in music she’s genetically destined for, featuring on a track on dad Jay Z’s new album 4:44.

After debuting on Tidal last week the album has been released on iTunes and Apple Music, and the new edition includes several bonus tracks. On Blue’s Freestyle/We Family, the five-year-old can be heard rambling – which is called ‘freestyling’ when you’re the offspring of two music icons.

Blue needs to work on her pronunciation (jokes, she’s five!) because some of the lyrics can be hard to decipher. But she says she’s “never seen a ceiling in my whole life” (inspiration from her feminist mum, no doubt) and “Everything everything this my only single thing/ Everything I hear is my answer.”

In another bit, she rhymes:

“Boom shakalaka/ boom shakalaka/ boom shakalaka/ boom shakalaka/ everything in shaka/ everything in faka/ everything in shaka/ everything in faka.”

Have a listen to Blue Ivy’s rap debut below. It appears the twins were born just a little too late to lay down a track on 4:44, but hopefully they can score a spot gurgling or wailing on Beyonce or Jay Z’s next album.
