It’s the Instagram account with almost seven million followers which tells the sometimes hilarious, often heartbreaking stories of real people.
But photographer and storyteller behind Humans Of New York Brandon Stanton apparently decided to make an exception yesterday, heading to the Met Gala to profile some famous couples – including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
The HONY Instagram account published a photo of Blake and Ryan, who have two daughters, with their arms around each other, and a rather sentimental quote from Reynolds about his wife.

“She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy. She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old.
“And she’s made me a more empathetic person. I had a very fractured relationship with my father. Before he died, she made me remember things I didn’t want to remember. She made me remember the good times.”
Blake and Ryan married in 2012 after meeting on the set of Green Lantern, and were definitely one of our best-dressed couples of the Met Gala 2017. See the rest.
