No one knows why Eminem performed at the 92nd Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. I’m going to hazard a guess that even Eminem himself couldn’t answer as to why he appeared on stage during the Oscars ceremony to sing ‘Lose Yourself’, a song that came out 18 years ago.
But with every cloud comes a silver lining and in this case, it’s Billie Eilish’s face.
When Eminem walked on stage, the 18-year-old singer’s reaction was plastered all over her face, a moment that was shown on screen and, naturally, went instantly viral:
Eilish was later caught screwing up her nose during Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig’s skit. In the midst of a medley of ’80s and ’90s hits by the two Bridesmaids‘ stars, which included Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ and Sisqo’s ‘Thong Song’ — both of which both came out before Eilish was born — the camera caught Eilish pulling this face:
Though some people were up in arms about the teen’s reaction to the iconic comedic duo, others came to her defense saying she was pulling a face because she’d seen herself on the camera screen yet again.
All things aside, the face made for one very good memeable moment:

Following the Oscars ceremony, for which she wore a very Billie Eilish oversized Chanel pantsuit, the singer changed into a black Gucci outfit and hit the Vanity Fair Oscar Party with her brother, Finneas.
