Biggest denim styles and cuts? “Sorry guys, but super skinny is so out. A tapered leg with a slightly tighter ankle is all the rage now. And yes, the denim jogger with elasticated ankle will be around a while. Invest now.”

BEST BRANDS RIGHT NOW? “We have a great stable of really cool denim brands in Australia right now, from Nobody and Nana Judy to Neuw and Ksubi. They all offer really varied styles, washes and cuts, so between them, you should easily find a cut that will become your staple.”

Best timEless styling tips for men’s denim? “Don’t try too hard to look cool. Seriously – don’t be a fashion victim. Jeans can be dressed up and down really easily if they fit well and look good. A quick jacket and t-shirt change is all you need to go from (suit-free) office to bar. If you can’t afford expensive designer brands, then H&M, Topshop and Zara all have great alternatives at a fraction of the price.”
