Beyonce has ever-so-subtly responded to the insane drama that unfolded yesterday after footage of her appearing frustrated with another woman went viral.
In the video taken at an NBA finals game in Oakland, California on Wednesday, Nicole Curran, the wife of Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob, is seen leaning over Beyonce to talk to Jay-Z. According to Curran, she was asking the rapper for his drink order, but it seems she invaded Queen Bey’s personal space, resulting in what looked like a death-stare and a gentle shoulder nudge from Beyonce.

The Beyhive, Queen Bey’s adoring fans, came for Curran after the video went viral, subjecting her to such intense online abuse she deactivated her Instagram account.
Now, Beyonce’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure has shared a gentle but firm message on Instagram that there is no way would have been posted without Bey’s approval.
Captioning a photo of Beyonce and Jay-Z on stage at their On The Run II tour last year, Noel-Schure wrote:
“[The tour] was a place of joy, unimaginable entertainment from two of the best performers in the world, and a place of love,” she said.
“Every single day on that tour I saw love. Which is why I also want to speak here to the beautiful BeyHiVE.
“I know your love runs deep but that love has to be given to every human. It will bring no joy to the person you love so much if you spew hate in her name. We love you.”
According to Curran, some online users accused of her flirting with Jay-Z right in front of Beyonce, and even urged her to kill herself.
“I’ve never experienced cyber bullying like this. I can’t believe our players go through this,” she told ESPN reporter Ramona Shelbourne. “That kids go through this.”
In a comment captured by The Shade Room, Curran continued to defend herself.
“All of this has been taken out of context. I am a happily married woman. Telling me to kill myself?????? Somehow I don’t think she [Beyonce] would support this.”
Judging from her publicist’s post, Curran is right.
Still, you’ll never catch me invading Beyonce’s personal space, not even if we were lost in the snow and had to share body heat to survive. Not worth it. Unless Beyonce wanted to, of course. To survive. But even then, I’d be nervous.
