Beyonce and Eminem have stunned the music world by dropping a surprise collaboration overnight: Walk On Water.

The music icons have joined up to release the song which appears to be from Eminem’s upcoming album, expected before the end of the year.

In the vein of his raw anti-Donald Trump rap at the BET Awards, Walk On Water sees Eminem spit emotionally honest rhymes, reflecting on insecurities about his ability to deliver music and performances that live up to the expectations of his fans, the industry and himself.

Beyonce sings the soulful chorus, apparently able to relate to Eminem’s sentiment.

“I’ll walk on water, but I ain’t no Jesus,” she sings, quite possibly referring to her Lemonade tour where she literally walked on water on stage.

“I’m only human, just like you,” she sings.

“I’ve been making my mistakes, oh if you only knew. I don’t think you should believe in me the way that you do, because I’m terrified to let you down.”

The Lose Yourself rapper posted a clip of the song on Instagram, captioning it “I’MMM BACK.”

It appears Eminem’s new album is called Revival, at least according to the mysterious teasers and a website he’s been pointing fans to.
