When it comes to makeup, I tend to stick to what I know. With the exception of a few new launches that I’ll occasionally sub in for testing purposes (it is my job after all), it takes a lot for a makeup product to land permanently in my beauty cupboard. I know what I like, and I have zero time for what I don’t.

That’s why when I finally find something that works, I tend to use it over and over and feel the need to tell anyone in my orbit about it – which brings us to my current rolodex of makeup discoveries. Here are the six makeup products I can’t stop reaching for right now.

The Quick Flick Quick Brow 2 in 1 Tinted Brow Lamination Gel, $29.99 shop now

Brow lamination gels can be great, or they can be disappointing – I’m convinced that there’s no in between. Thankfully, this newbie from The Quick Flick is the former. It effortlessly feathers, shapes and lifts my brow hairs, while at the same time offering a subtle tint, meaning I can skip brow pencil altogether.

Kosas Kosasport LipFuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm in Flow, $30 SHOP NOW

I recently misplaced this lip balm on a night out, and I’m honestly still struggling to process the loss. It feels like a soft, nourishing balm but it performs like a lipstick, staying put for hours and providing the perfect amount of colour (the taupe-pink Flow shade is my fave). I’ll be racing in store to replace this one up ASAP.

Rose Inc Solar Infusion Soft-Focus Cream Bronzer, $60 shop now

I have a few cream bronzers that I reach for, but Rose Inc’s recent offering has become my new go-to. There are a number of shades and the formula is so soft and easily blendable, leaving my skin with the perfect wash of colour to reawaken my face.

Ciaté Brazilian Glow Face Palette, $49 SHOP now

I’ve become accustomed to travelling with this all-in-one face palette, which features everything you need to create a subtle or statement glow. The eyeshadows are pigmented and versatile, but the standouts for me are the highlighter and powder to add radiance and neutralise any unwanted shine,

Lanolips Glossy Balm in Berry, $14.95 shop now

Yes, another lip product – but this one is my everyday ride-or-die. Most mornings, I’m far too lazy to fuss with lip liner but my all-but-invisible lips still need a touch of colour. This deep berry shade delivers a super-glossy, kissable pout in a single swipe, while also leaving the lips feeling hydrated. I now carry one in every handbag.

ONE/size Point Made Liquid Eyeliner Pen, $30 shop now

I go through phases with liquid eyeliner, but this one has put me firmly back on the cat-eye train. The ultra-fine tip gets into those tricky inner corners and delivers the sharpest possible wing, while the formula is ultra pigmented and will not budge an inch.
