Wherever Bella Hadid goes, people follow. Her every fashionable move is documented and inevitably lusted after by the four corners of the globe. Her Cannes season was next to none, hitting style home runs One. After. The. Other. Girl can wear clothes.
Last night, the supermodel stepped out in London for the Dior Resort 2019 show in a spectacular two piece. One part satin tailored waistcoat, the other a princess-worthy full tulle skirt. Not to mention the inspired headpiece and her signature sunglasses.
A few hours later, Hadid emerged again, however the skirt had been traded for a pair of vintage Levi’s and a Dior belt. Her vest and accessories remained in tact but now formed part of a chic-casual after-party look.
In every other way Hadid’s life is far removed from those of us mere mortals, but this quick change has us asking: did she have those jeans rolled up in her bag, like we would? Did she just want to be able to breathe, like we would? Did she want to be able to use the bathroom without taking six friends with her, like we would? Perhaps that’s where the similarities end, but we salute you Bella and your option for a comfy after-party get up.
Next on our shopping list? A black satin waistcoat. Who knew it could be so versatile?
