In the Lone Star State, one cowboy seemingly just got a little less lonely as reports that supermodel Bella Hadid relocated full-time to Texas emerged. The decorated fashion industry veteran, who recently stepped back from runway shows and magazine shoots due to a recent battle with Lyme disease, has allegedly purchased a property in Fort Worth, Texas. (Pharrell, please ensure a suite of pieces from Louis Vuitton’s Western-inspired “Paris, Virginia” Fall/Winter 2024 collection is couriered to Hadid’s new address, immediately.)

According to reports, the preceding ‘Supermodel Of The Year’ incumbent bought a residence in the “rural neighbourhood” of the Dallas-bordering city. “The community is close enough to urban amenities, so she doesn’t feel cut off from the world,” they add. As we’ve seen from Hadid’s recent sightings, penchant for cowboy hats, frequent attendance at rodeo shows and horse-filled social media posts, the 27-year-old has exchanged the bustling city for the peace of the countryside. (Perfectly timed to the release of Beyoncé’s upcoming country album “Cowboy Carter”, too.)

Hadid was first spotted in Texas walking arm-in-arm with a horse rider and wrangler back in October 2023 after silently withdrawing from the public to recover from her chronic disease. Sources close to Hadid have cited her burgeoning relationship with the real-life cowboy, Adan Banuelos, as the factor that spurred her move from New York. It’s reported that Banuelos owns two homes close to Hadid’s and the pair split the time between the residences.

Hadid’s equestrian roots go back far, though she was mainly experienced in the preppier equestrian spheres when compared to the rugged Western style she’s associating with now. Regardless, this move has clearly earned the stamp of approval from her family, including her elder sister Gigi. (The mother of one also splits her time between New York City and a farm, though her’s is closer to the metropolitan hub in Pennsylvania.) When Bella recently competed at a rodeo show, Gigi commented, “Bring the buckles home sisssss” on a post to show her support.

Bella has certainly brought a bucolic energy to rural life, and with the style savant gearing up to launch a beauty brand Ôrebella, it’s clear she’s found her alchemy amongst the cactus and tumbleweeds of Texas.
