In recent months, Bella Hadid has become increasingly vocal and candid on a number of intimate details about her life. Last week she revealed that at 14-years-old she did get a nose job (and subsequently regrets it) and isn’t afraid to speak about frequented burnout. Her latest bout of honesty arrived on social media today via a quiet PSA about her style.

On Instagram stories across a selfie, she wrote, “Anyone who doesn’t like my style….. 🙂 It’s a good think it’s mine. And not yours!! Xx”. One more time for the people in the back!

Hadid has become a contemporary pioneer for Y2K and nineties style in recent years. On the streets and via social media she has single-handedly brought back low-rise pants, the crochet bucket hat, mini cardigans, cargo pants and just about every polarising micro trend everywhere – making it look damn good in the process.

In a January interview with WSJ Magazinethe supermodel shared how her personal style assists with her mental health. “In the last year, it was really important for me to learn that even if people talk about my style or if they like it or if they don’t, it doesn’t matter, because it’s my style,” she said. “When I leave the house in the morning, what I think about is: Does this make me happy? Do I feel good in this and do I feel comfortable?”

Similarly in another more recent interview, she discussed the style cues of her wardrobe. “I’m dead-on. I know what I like. I always have, since I was young. And I’ve never drifted.” She added she understand the influence she has on other women, “I look outside and I see a hundred people dressed exactly like me, just because of what Instagram is.”

We’re loving this new candid Bella!
