If there’s one thing Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa’s recent online activity has confirmed, it’s that the Instagram photo dump isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The model and actress both took to social media overnight to each share a bunch of photos taken from recent weeks, using the OG photo dump aesthetic in the process.
As usual, the model and singer, who are both Y2K-trend poster girls, used the occasion to post cute ‘fits and moments we’ve missed, interspersing these images with candid photos — Hadid, eating an ice cream and showing off her leopard print slippers in the back of a car, and Lipa documenting a dog eating a croissant — to ensure the tone is casual cool and relaxed. Hadid captioned hers “In between 🏃🏽♀️,” while Lipa wrote simply, “~ recently ~.”
Surely there’ll be a university course taught about casual Instagram sometime soon.
In Hadid’s carousel, the 25-year-old, who Tagwalk recently revealed generated 852 per cent more views on runway looks than any other models walking this past fashion week season, showcased her love of leopard print, evident in a cute bag she’s carrying in one image and via her comfy leopard print slippers in a later slide.
Hadid also sneakily ended her post with a cute picture in Paris of herself and her boyfriend Marc Kalman, similar to when she went Instagram official with him over a year ago by posting a PDA pic on the last slide of a gallery.
Lipa, meanwhile, used the occasion to showcase her love of pastel, posting multiple photos of a pastel lilac knitted Heaven by Marc Jacobs dress, which she wore with oversized sunglasses and a matching hair clip.
The singer also shared a more sophisticated look to open the gallery, showing her wearing white jeans and a black blazer with a sheer black button-down underneath open to show off her embellished black bra.
Though the pair are longtime friends, they’ve been spending less time together since Lipa broke off her relationship with Hadid’s younger brother Anwar a few months ago. Here’s hoping they reunite soon because style pics of two of the world’s most stylish women together are the best kind.
