Bella Hadid is no stranger to a faux fringe. In fact, she’s quite the dab hand when it comes to faking it.

First, there were the cropped baby bang + messy bun situation in October 2016.

Five months later, Bella went bang again, displaying a Scarface sleek bob + bang combo at the CDFA Awards.

In May 2017, Hadid launched the new Bvlgari Goldea Roman Night perfume in the Italian capital with a little la dolce vita inspired beauty. While Rome wasn’t built in a day, her fringe certainly was, with the model sporting fake, jet black baby bangs by Jen Atkin, a hairstyle reminiscent of a young Sophia Loren.

Then there was the blunt micro fringe in Paris, which made us ask: Rooney Mara, is that you?

In March 2018 while prepping for a new Dior campaign, Hadid almost had us fooled with a very natural looking chunky fringe. But alas, these were clip-in pieces, too (cheeky, Bella).

In LA last year, hosting her Bella Hadid x True Religion collection, Bella had another bombshell bang moment, with Atkin once again adding a fringe for some major Brigitte Bardot bedhead.

In Febuaray, she attended the Michael Kors Spring 2019 Launch Party with a pony and appropriately feathered bangs by hairstylist Jennifer Yepez.

And over the weekend, attending Marc Jacobs’ elaborate Manhattan wedding, Hadid faked it once again, this time with a sweeping, razored fringe and long, I Dream Of Jeannie pony.

On-trend and delightfully obligation-free, we can’t think of a better way to shift our strands for one night only. You know what they say, fake it until you make it.
