Over the past week, Bella Hadid has been making the most of the European summer, jetting back and forth between Paris Fashion Week and Cannes Film Festival—the latter of which she once again won the red carpet at, thanks to one incredibly glamorous vintage Jean Paul Gaultier gown.
But despite her packed schedule of runway shows and red carpet appearances, Hadid had something else on her mind when she posted a gallery to Instagram earlier today: that of a new love.
Hidden at the end of a photo dump showing her dressed in a pink two-piece skirt and shirt combo, Hadid casually revealed that not only does she have a boyfriend, but she has a boyfriend she’s ready to be Instagram official with.
The last image in her slideshow showed the 24-year-old model embracing a mystery man, naturally, sending her 44 million fans, most of whom didn’t know she was dating anyone—hello, @DeuxMoi?!—wild.
Of course, the internet being the internet, it wasn’t long before people managed to identify the person as art director and creative Marc Kalman. Though Kalman isn’t Hadid-level famous, he runs in similar circles, previously working with the likes of rapper Travis Scott—Hadid’s friend Kylie Jenner’s partner—on his album artwork.
In Hadid’s post, Kalman has his arms around the model’s waist, while hers are wrapped around his neck as she looks at him and giggles. “Time of my life,” Hadid captioned the post. “Healthy, Working and Loved.”
Though the pair have managed to keep their romance relatively under wraps, back in June Hadid was photographed at lunch with Kalman and a few other friends in New York City. The outing was the first time dating rumours started circulating.
Though neither party has confirmed the romance beyond the ‘gram, Kalman has a private Instagram account with 3,000 followers, one of whom is Hadid. Furthermore, Hadid’s friends commented on her post, seemingly excited she’d gone Insta’ official. “!!!!!!!! 😍 last pic,” Hadid’s childhood best friend Lauren Perez wrote, while her older sister, Gigi, posted a smiley face.
Hadid’s new romance is the first time she’s publicly dated anyone since the end of her on-again, off-again romance with The Weeknd, which ended for good in 2019. At the time, the pair—who started dating in 2015, before breaking up in 2016, then reuniting a year later—blamed scheduling conflicts and distance as negatively impacting their relationship.
Happy, healthy and loved? We truly do love to see it.
