Ashley Graham has long been one of the most famous body positivity advocates, something that’s only increased since the supermodel announced her pregnancy to husband Justin Ervin in August.
Despite the 32-year-old admitting that even she was struggled at first with how fast her body was changing, Graham used the opportunity to open up a conversation around pregnancy, sharing videos of her stretch marks and photos of her evolving baby bump with her 10 million followers.
After revealing that she has gained 22kgs throughout her pregnancy so far – British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley appeared on Graham’s podcast, Pretty Big Deal, a few weeks prior where she said she gained 25kgs in total during hers with son, Jack – Graham has taken to Instagram to post a completely naked photo of her body, taken during a recent photoshoot.
The image, which shows Graham leaning back to show off her baby bump, is, of course, not retouched or photoshopped in any way and in the hours since it was posted, has been liked over 1.2 million times.
She captioned it simply, “Open to surrender.”
The image got the seal of approval from the best in the business – ’90s supers – including Helena Christensen who wrote, “Two beautiful humans ❤️❤️” and Christy Turlington, who put it perfectly: “Warrior Woman.”
