2016
In her brunette era, Taylor-Joy continued her rise as both a lauded actress and a mainstay on fashion’s front row, here at a Miu Miu show where her love of eclectic style is apparent.
2017
For the 2017 BAFTAs, Anya Taylor-Joy chose resplendent Gucci, looking every bit the ethereal goddess in a pleated gown with the label’s bejewelled tiger motif.
Very much in her award show circuit by 2017, Taylor-Joy wore Dolce & Gabbana to the BFI London Film Festival Awards, an eye-catching blend of bronze, gold and midnight blue sequins.
2018
For the 2018 Met Gala (Heavenly Bodies), Anya Taylor-Joy made her first attendance at the fashion and art event, wearing Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda. Taylor-Joy was in the middle of her stint on Peaky Blinders, but was yet to skyrocket to fame.
For the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition Preview Party, Taylor-Joy chose a Huishan Zhang Resort dress with metallic print and feathered edging, and looked like summer personified.
Attending the Serpentine Summper Party in 2018, you’d be forgiven for thinking this was Anya Taylor-Joy embodying her character from The Queen’s Gambit – however, that series was still two years away. This 60s-inspired mini by Chanel would definitely have fit into the series, though.

2021
Taylor-Joy chose Dior Haute Couture for the 2021 Emmy Awards, once again looking like sunshine thanks to her butter-blonde hair and incandescent skin. She was up for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie for The Queen’s Gambit.
Playing with volume and structure at the CFDA Awards, Anya Taylor-Joy wore custom Oscar de la Renta to accept the award for Face Of The Year.
Taylor-Joy attended the Venice Film Festival in 2021, with one of her most striking fashion looks being this Rodarte dress and robe. The actress was promoting Last Night In Soho, and leaned in to Barbiecore, also opting for a hot pink Dior gown later in the evening.
For the Los Angeles premiere of Last Night In Soho, Taylor-Joy wore this incredible Dior gown with chevron pleats and a pleated bodice, which tied well with the film’s glamorous underbelly setting.
2022
One of our favourite fashion looks from Anya Taylor-Joy and a pivotal moment in her style evolution was this Dior dress for the Vanity Fair Oscar’s After Party. The structure! The pleats! The netting!
While promoting her film The Northman (here at its Hollywood premiere), Taylor-Joy opted for ice-queen styling that aligned with her Slavic sorceress character. Again, the global ambassador for Dior wore Dior.
Something about Anya Taylor-Joy’s style evolution is that you can clearly see the fun in her styling. The actress truly loves fashion and dressing to theme, here arriving at The Drew Barrymore Show in Nensi Dojaka Spring 2023 with Aquazzura heels. It’s giving 1960s Barbie.
2023
Taylor-Joy loves a sunshine yellow moment, and she returned again for the 2023 Golden Globes, this time in Dior. The two-piece column set was a minimalist dream teamed with her long, poker-straight hair and nude makeup.
Anya Taylor-Joy always looks right at home in period-inspired fashion. For the Critic’s Choice Awards the actress wore a Dior midi that paid homage to the fashion house’s designs of the past, with scalloped details and a corset-style waist.
For the BAFTAs in 2023, Anya Taylor-Joy divided fashion sets globally with this Schiaparelli design, which featured an oversized velvet cloak and bustier-style mini dress.
