While Chris Pratt has “gone fishin” on his social media accounts, soon-to-be ex-wife Anna Faris isn’t holding up too well, according to Hollywood Life. “She’s a complete wreck right now,” a source reportedly told the publication. “She’s been fighting to save her marriage for the past year and she feels like fame won.”
The couple announced their separation after eight years of marriage just last week. Fans across the world were devastated as from the outside looking in, Pratt and Faris seemingly had a great relationship. While there were consistent rumours of Pratt cheating on his actress wife with Passengers co-star Jennifer Lawrence, Faris had described the period as “tricky” but didn’t allude to the couple suffering immensely from it.
In this new report, rumours have swirled Pratt – whose star has risen exponentially in the past 12 months – wanted to keep travelling around the world but his wife wanted to stay in Los Angeles with their four-year-old son Jack. The relationship dynamic reportedly shifted gears when Pratt took on his tole in Guardians Of The Galaxy and “he became an action hero”. “Things were so much better for them when he was just the funny guy,” the source said. “Anna wishes that he’d never gotten in shape. She’s convinced that was the beginning of the end for them.”
