Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are due to welcome their first child any day now, after it was confirmed Meghan would give birth in “late April or early May”.
British media outlets are on edge as they await the news, so much so that the sighting of an ambulance in Windsor triggered a royal baby false alarm overnight.
After photographers saw the ambulance parked near Harry and Meghan’s home, Frogmore Cottage, some websites went into a frenzy speculating the baby had been born (it’s unclear if Meghan will give birth at home or be transported to hospital).

Alas, it was a false alarm. The South Central Ambulance Service confirmed the emergency van sighted was just a driver training vehicle.
The public is eagerly awaiting news of Baby Sussex, but there might not be an announcement for several days after the birth. Harry and Meghan have said they want to celebrate privately before sharing it with the world. Honestly, fair enough.
