Blame Trump (or half of American voters) – or even those who voted for a Brexit without fully understanding its consequences – for the sour taste left in our mouths when we think about 2016. While it’s been a pretty horrendous year on the world political stage, for Amanda Seyfried, it’s actually been her best year yet.
The 30-year-old actress who got engaged to her boyfriend and The Last Word co-star Thomas Sadoski in September 2016 has today announced she is expecting her first child. Arriving at the launch of Givenchy’s new “Live Irresistible fragrance” in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Seyfried debuted a baby bump and her rep quickly confirmed the good news to E!.
Speaking to Marie Claire UK in 2015, she joked she needed to have a baby stat. ““I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off. I need to get on it… I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly,” she said. “That’s what I feel. I’ve been feeling it for like, two years. I’m not ready but nobody’s ready. It changes everything… so how you can ever be ready for that?”
Baby will make four for the couple who already have a dog, Finn.
