Afterpay Australian Fashion Week is slowly drawing to a close, but not before local designer St. Agni showed a luxurious albeit understated collection earlier this morning.
The Byron-born brand, founded by Lara and Matt Fells, is loved for its simple tailoring, earthy tones, relaxed silhouettes and casual elegance – and the Resort 2022 collection felt like a natural evolution.
For Makeup Artist Teneille Sorgiovanni for MAC Cosmetics, it was essential the beauty look accentuated (rather than overpowered) the minimalist clothing. “There are feminine and statement elements that run through the makeup to emulate the collection. Tailored hues around the eyes, structural waterlines, gentle highlights and custom lips. A minimalist yet refined approach,” Sorgiovanni explained
Skin was prepped using the Fix+ Magic Radiance Mist and Prep & Prime Essential Oil Stick, before the Studio Radiance Face & Body Sheer Foundation was massaged in for a fresh, luminous skin finish. Sorgiovanni added in a strong but fluffy brow, sculpted eye and a custom soft-red lip to finish off.
Overall, it was polished, elevated and super chic – but still with a touch of that Byron nonchalance St. Agni is known for.
