A NYC Rendezvous Between Carrie Bradshaw And Aleksandr Petrovsky Happened On The Weekend

NEW YORK CITY: Remember The Russian on Sex And The City? He was the heavily-accented man who could offer heroine Carrie Bradshaw the Parisian fairytale but was caught in the crossfire of love sparks between his girlfriend and Mr. Big who flew to the French capital to woo her back to New York. Well, Carrie and Aleksandr Petrovsky have reunited – in real life, actually, at the 2018 New York City Ballet Fall Fashion Gala.
Sarah Jessica Parker – who wore the most incredible Giles Deacon red gown to the event (you need to see the back of it, scroll below) – attended the event with her husband Matthew Broderick and longtime friend Andy Cohen. Mikhail Baryshnikov, who played Petrovsky, attended with his wife. We wonder if they exchanged hellos. Or if, like in the much-loved HBO series, he put art before their relationship.
And there just wasn’t a more Carrie-Bradshaw-in-NYC moment than Parker leaving her West Village apartment to attend the ball.
