Kaia Gerber just saved our bad hair day. In Berlin for Omega, Gerber stepped out sporting some seriously slicked strands. Deeply side-parted and tonged at the ends, hair was slicked down from the root to the ear with a wet finish. Supremely sexy as only Gerber knows how, the hairstyle played with both proportion and texture; the top was flat and shiny and almost wet, whilst ends were bouncy and curled with movement throughout.

With Crawford-like locks, Gerber is turning into quite the hair icon; moving from natural texture to highly stylised ‘dos, even a choppy curtain fringe at one point. But this rendition, which served a serious dose of sexiness, maintained its polish with just the right amount of product. Too much, and hair becomes soppy. Too little, and that high-shine, supremely sexed-up feel is lost.

A saving grace for flyaways and unruly baby hairs (we’re all victims), a slicked ‘do is the perfect hairstyle to disguise unwanted fuzz around the face. First create your desired texture at the bottom – big barrel curls à la Kaia, wiry waves or dead straight – then go in for the slick. Work product from the root downwards, slowly building up until you reach that ultimate sheen.

Warning: slippery (but sexy) roads ahead.
