The 74th annual Primetime Emmy Awards has come alive in Downtown Los Angeles this evening as Hollywood celebrates the very best in cult television. There are plenty of red carpet events this week with both New York Fashion Week and the Toronto International Film Festival boasting star power. We weren’t emotionally prepared however for all the glitz and glamour of the upcoming awards ceremony so we’re calling it early: it’s been one of the best red carpets this year.
Pam & Tommy actress Lily James led the A-list arrivals in Versace alongside Elle Fanning in a custom gown made by The Great costume designer, Sharon Long. Zendaya was of course a highlight in a billowing Valentino gown alongside her co-star Sydney Sweeney who wore a backless embellished Oscar de la Renta gown. Other notable appearances included Reese Witherspoon wearing Tiffany & Co, Sarah Paulson, and Lizzo (who didn’t exactly pose on the red carpet but arrived fashionably late to the ceremony).
