Ah, the internet. It is both incredibly problematic (read: Kanye West on social media) and entertaining. Today Twitter is hedging its bets on a new and unexpected romance between Gisele Bündchen and Pete Davidson so count us in.
According to a source for Page Six, the supermodel and her current husband Tom Brady have obtained divorce lawyers after weeks of rumours that the couple may split after an “epic fight”.
“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” an insider told the publication. “I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
The couple have been living apart for several weeks now reportedly after Brady’s decision to un-retire from the NFL. Both parties have not responded to requests for comment from any publication but Twitter has wasted no time in thinking the relationship is sadly already over.
“Congrats to Pete Davidson, I assume,” I assume wrote one user in response to the report. Another added, “can anyone honestly say they’d even be surprised if pete davidson bagged gisele? he’s like the default rebound for beautiful famous women at this point.”

The Twitterverse is of course referring to Davidson’s nine-month long relationship to Kim Kardashian. The comedian was recently photographed wearing a bandage where a tattoo dedicated to Kardashian had been. He’s quickly moving on.
Bündchen and Brady have been married since 2009 and share two children, Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. Brady is also the father to another son, Jack, 15, who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.
At this point reports of a divorce are just speculation. Stay tuned for further developments.
