Taylor Swift has a new lawsuit to add to her list of ongoing dramas.

As TMZ reports, songwriters Sean Hall and Nathan Butler allege that Swift lifted heavily from their 2001 song Playas Gon’ Play to write her hit Shake It Off.

Lyrics in Playas Gon’ Play include “Playas, they gonna play and haters, they gonna hate” while in Taylor’s 2014 mega-hit, she sings:

“Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play, and the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate.”

But a legal representative for Swift didn’t sound too concerned about the lawsuit in a statement to People.

“This is a ridiculous claim and nothing more than a money grab. The law is simple and clear. They do not have a case.”

It’s not the first time Taylor has been accused of copying the lyrics for Shake It Off – in 2015 a judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by R&B Jesse Graham, who claimed he owned the copyright to the lyrics “haters gonna hate”.
