Kendall Jenner has publicly acknowledged the backlash over the Pepsi commercial she starred in – which the brand pull from the air – for the first time.
Kendall discusses the drama on season 14 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, as a preview for the series released today reveals.
“I feel like my life is over,” a shell-shocked Kendall is shown saying to Kim Kardashian, who tells her in response “you made a mistake”.
It’s the first time the public has heard the 21-year-old speak about the ad, which was slammed for being tone deaf and offensive. The commercial depicted a protest march where relations are tense between protestors and the police.
Kendall arrives and hands a Pepsi to a police officer, and then everything was miraculously fine.

After pulling the ad Pepsi apologised, saying they were “trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding” but “clearly we missed the mark.”
Kendall never commented on the situation, however at the time an insider told E! News she was “devastated” about what had happened.
“Even though she had nothing to do with the production and the message of the campaign, she will be blamed for this since she is the face.”
It looks like Jenner will share her side of the story in the next season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which premiere on October 1.
