Hip-hop’s glamour couple Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their new twins just last month, and since then have wasted no time in expanding their (already sizeable) entourage of staff on hand.  According to reports from US OK! Magazine, the dynamic duo have hired not one, but six (!) new nannies for their Los Angeles mansion.

Sparing no expense for their growing family, reports claim the six new babysitters, on call day and night, will set the couple back over $600,000 per year – that’s 100K per person! Where do we sign up?!

It appears to have been a logistical decision made by Queen B, with the source explaining to OK! magazine, “The twins don’t sleep at the same time, so she decided she needed three per child, working in eight hour shifts.”

Granted, for us mere mortals spending over half a million dollars on babysitters seems a bit (okay, insanely) OTT. But for Bey and Jay, this sum may as well be spare change, after Forbes confirmed in May this year that the duo are collectively worth over a billion dollars – $1.16 billion to be exact – and counting.

The couple already employs two other nannies for big sister Blue Ivy, aged 5, bringing the grand total to 8 caregivers on their roster. Their growing army of staff now also comprises of additional maids, security staff and nurses.”
