Margot Robbie could be signing on for yet another exciting project, this time portraying Queen Elizabeth I in upcoming film Mary Queen Of Scots.

As Variety reports, Margot is in talks with producers about starring in the film, which will tell the story of Queen Elizabeth’s Scottish cousin Mary Stuart, who attempted to overthrow and assassinate her, but ended up being imprisoned and executed.

Oscar nominated actress Saoirse Ronan, best known for her roles in Brooklyn and The Lovely Bones, is confirmed to be playing Mary.

Margot has filmed virtually back-to-back projects since her stratospheric rise to fame following The Wolf Of Wall Street. After being credited with being the only thing that saved Suicide Squad, she filmed I, Tonya, based on the real life story of disgraced American figure skater Tonya Harding. Next up is Robin Hood spin-off film Marian, in which she’ll play the title character, and movie about Winnie The Pooh author A.A. Milne. She’s also recorded her voice as part of the live-action/animation Peter Rabbit with Rose Byrne.
