Khloe Kardashian’s reps and spokespeople would have been inundated with calls in recent weeks from journalists asking for confirmation that she’s dating professional basketball player Tristan Thompson.
But announcing her first relationship since ending it with ex-husband Lamar Odom through a rep is not Khloe’s style. Thoroughly modern, she lives her life on social media (and makes a pretty penny from it, too), so Khloe knows all she has to tell the world she’s off the market is post about her new man on Snapchat.
And so it was at her brother-in-law Kanye West’s Miami concert on Friday night that she handed her phone to a friend and asked them to film her passionately kissing Cleveland Cavaliers player Thompson, announcing once and for all she’s no longer single. Then, knowing full well the paparazzi would be waiting outside, she and Tristan held hands as they walked into hip Miami restaurant Zuma.
There you have it – the word is out, without Khloe having to say even one.

Khloe first filed for divorce from Odom in 2013, but withdrew the papers when he was hospitalised following an overdose in October last year and she became his caretaker. She re-filed the documents in May of this year and he submitted his response in July, so according to California law the marriage should be officially dissolved before the end of the year.
