Kanye West’s New York Fashion Week show has been collectively deemed a disaster. From models who fainted after waiting in a “holding pen” in the heat to guests being trapped on buses for 90 minutes, Yeezy Season 4 did not get a positive reception.

Now the rapper-slash-fashion-designer has responded via his preferred medium aside from the microphone – Twitter. In four vaguely-worded tweets he spoke as a “we”, seemingly acknowledging the criticism without completely accepting it.

“It’s our life’s mission to create the most transformative experiences,” he wrote.

“Each and every one’s time, insight and feelings are invaluable to us. We want to make people feel great. Thank you for embarking on this creative journey. With love and respect, Kanye West.”

It’s certainly a subdued style of response from West, who has been prone to angry outbursts at the slightest criticism in the past.

Meanwhile, one of the models in the show, Amina Blue (pictured below) has explained why she took off her shoes mid-walk. The reason is rather unglamorous – foot sweat.

“They were comfortable, it was the heat from the sun,” she told The Cut. “When you’re wearing plastic shoes, your feet are going to sweat.”
