For three days only this coming weekend (beginning August 19) Kanye West has announced that 21 Life of Pablo merchandise stores will open in cities around the globe, including Sydney and Melbourne.

Each store will reportedly stock merchandise featuring the corresponding city’s name writ large in Los Angeles-based artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt’s signature Gothic script.

Earlier this year, West opened a similar Pablo merchandise pop-up store in Soho, Manhattan. If prices from that event are any indication, expect distressed denim jackets retailing for $520, hoodies for around $120, bomber jackets for around $450, and tees (both short and long sleeved) for around $60. Perhaps more importantly, you expect lines to be longer than a thinkpiece by a middle-aged white man debating West’s merits as an artistic genius.

Exact store locations and price points are yet to be announced, so in the interim: watch this space.

Update: The Pablo pop up store in Sydney will take place at 180 Campbell Parade in Bondi Beach beginning at 10am. The Melbourne store will be located at 209 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy from the same time. More details about opening hours can be found here.
