Sydney is about to find itself enveloped in the luminous world of Miss Dior, as the French Maison unveils its latest sensory delight: the Miss Dior Café. Open for just two days (September 26-27), the ephemeral pop-up will be in full bloom at 11 Bridge Street, transforming the heritage-listed space into a romantic ode to the house’s newest fragrance, Miss Dior Essence.
In true Dior fashion, the café is an immersive moment. Each 45-minute reservation (available for just AU$50) includes bespoke beverages and patisserie, delicately echoing the fresh, floral notes of the new scent. For those who prefer a fleeting encounter, an express coffee moment is also on offer for walk-ins.
At the heart of this experience is Miss Dior Essence, a radiant reinterpretation of the maison’s iconic floral signature. Perhaps its most audacious yet.
Created by Perfume Creative Director Francis Kurkdjian, this new essence de parfum embodies liberated femininity in all its unapologetic confidence. With an intense concentration, the scent opens with a surprising gourmand accord of jammy blackberry and elderflower, giving way to a wildly luxurious jasmine bouquet. It’s a luminous yet daring blend, anchored by dense oakwood accords that lend warmth and sensuality.
Encased in a modernised version of the original 1948 Miss Dior bottle, complete with a frosted houndstooth motif and black grosgrain poignard bow, the latest olfactory iteration is as much an object of desire as it is a celebration of identity.
Naturally, you can expect the setting of this cafe pop-up to be as refined as any boutique across the luxuriate’s universe.
