It’s not the typical regal fanfare we see around the festive season, but Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have offered an intimate contribution for the holiday period by releasing their Christmas card. The image provided a snapshot of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s year, including glimpses of their charitable work from their recent trips to Nigeria and Colombia.
Of course, the picture that piqued the interest of most was the sweet inclusion of a never-before-seen photo of the couple’s growing children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. Despite the children remaining out of the spotlight, the card offers a tender glimpse of the typical life at home for the regal brood with the littlest royals snapped running up the driveway of what appears to be their Montecito mansion into the arms of their parents.
The family was also joined by their three dogs, a black labrador and two rescue beagles. Truly a hallmark moment.
It’s been an equally transformative twelve months for Markle, with the former actress rebranding herself as a bona fide entrepreneur and lifestyle maven. Not only has she begun investing in female-owned businesses, but she’s also planning to launch her own product line titled American Riviera Orchard.
The 43-year-old is set to return to our screens with an untitled non scripted Netflix series. The new show is said to celebrate “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”. Hopefully like this radiant shot, the upcoming release will offer an unparalleled glimpse at the Suits alumni’s at-home style.
As we’ve seen, Markle has become somewhat of a walking endorsement for the understated luxury trend, with elevated labels like Posse, St. Agni, Khaite and Leset all in high rotation.
For this look, Markle opted for a cosy white cardigan perfect for a Californian Christmas. According to reports, the family have been invited across the pond to celebrate the occasion with the Spencers after being snubbed by King Charles III.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have organised their annual carol service, titled Together At Christmas, which will air in the United Kingdom on December 25. They will likely spend time over the winter holiday at Sandringham House with the extended royal family.
