In exciting news from the royal family, Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have just revealed they are expecting their second child together.

The couple shared the joyous update with the world today via a heartwarming post on X, accompanied by sweet family photos featuring their three-year-old daughter, Sienna, and Mapelli Mozzi’s eight-year-old son, Christopher Woolf, from his previous relationship with Dara Huang.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna.” read the official statement. “His Majesty the King has been informed, and both families are delighted with the news.”

The royal couple was first introduced by mutual friends in 2018. They tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in July 2020 after postponing their May nuptials due to the pandemic.

This marks the couple’s second addition since welcoming their daughter, Sienna, in September 2021. The little one’s middle name, Elizabeth, is a touching tribute to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

“We are all doing well, and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna,” Beatrice wrote in a post on X at the time.

Her husband echoed the sentiment in a follow-up Instagram post.

“Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us,” he wrote. “Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget. This week, a friend said to me the sweetest saying… that with every child, you grow a whole new heart 💖.”
