Inauguration Day looks a little different in 2021. The National Mall which usually sees droves of people is instead, filled with over 200,000 American flags. And while the Inaugural celebrations across the United States are normally a flurry of packed crowds and live concerts, we will be forced to the television to tune into the the primetime concert, ‘Celebrating America hosted by Tom Hanks’, virtually.
Unlike past years, the Biden-Harris Inauguration 2021 feels more inclusive. If you reside in the US, you can tune in through any major television network. For those abroad, may we suggest heading to YouTube to livestream the event.
The 90-minute special opens with Bruce Springsteen who performs ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’ held in front of Lincoln Memorial. The livestream also features an appearance from Grammy Award-winning artist Jon Bon Jovi with the apt hit, ‘Here Comes The Sun’. Bon Jovi was a fierce campaigner for Joe Biden
Other endorsers of the Biden campaign include the Foo Fighters, Katy Perry and Demi Lovato who will also perform.
