Even more exciting than the Golden Globes ceremony itself is, obviously, the after-parties.
No-longer concerned about getting caught pulling a strange facial expression by the live broadcast cameras, Hollywood finally gets to let its hair down.
Taylor Swift and boyfriend Joe Alwyn – who stars in The Favourite, an awards season, well, favourite – graced several parties with their presence. Swift, still in the Atelier Versace gown she wore to present an award and Alwyn were seen first at the FOX, FX and Hulu after-party, where they hung with his The Favourite cast members.
(The notoriously private couple somehow avoided being photographed together).

The Netflix party was their next stop – not surprising since Taylor recently dropped her Reputation World Tour special on the streaming service.
“They were ushered in very quickly to a back booth on a platform and hung out there for 10 minutes,” an insider told E! News.
“There was no obvious PDA—just them together whispering to each other closely in a booth.”
Their after-party-hopping took them to two more events; the InStyle and Warner Bros party, where they were seen chatting with a never-ending stream of people saying hi (also at this party, Lady Gaga was seen sipping on champagne and holding her Golden Globe for Best Original Song for A Star Is Born track Shallow.)
Taylor and Joe then hit the CAA bash, where they sat “at a table with their drinks in the back of the party and were talking with several people.”
Meanwhile, Pete Davidson reportedly made a new friend at the after-parties in none other than Kate Beckinsale. Page Six reports Pete, 25, who split from fiancé Ariana Grande in October, and the actress were seen leaving the Netflix party together.

“They were flirting and sipping Moët champagne,” an eye-witness said.
“They were outside on the patio and left together.”
Beckinsale, 45, divorced her Hollywood producer husband Len Wiseman in 2016.
But the most attention-grabbing couple of the night was probably Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) winner Rami Malek and his Bohemian Rhapsody co-star/real-life lover Lucy Boynton.
At the Hulu after-party, the couple couldn’t hide their euphoria celebrating all the accolades Bohemian Rhapsody received, including Best Motion Picture – Drama.
A-listers were forced to duck for cover as they left the after-parties in the early hours of the morning, as an uncharacteristic rain poured down in Los Angeles.
