Quarantine has been a make or break situation for a lot of couples. If you’d just recently started dating someone before the pandemic, you had a choice: either go it long distance and attempt to keep the spark alive over FaceTime and… sexting, or take a risk and seriously escalate things by moving in together and riding it out.

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse, who’d been dating for a year and a half before the world went wild, opted for option two and, thankfully, the lockdown reportedly did nothing but bring them closer. With work travel and movie-making on hold, apparently the model and actor have become “inseparable”, living together in a West London apartment.

A source told E! that things are going so swimmingly that the pair has even been discussing tying the knot. “Rob and Suki have definitely discussed getting engaged but are in no rush,” they said. “Suki is not pressuring him and they are both very committed to each other.”

That source added that the couple’s relationship is “stronger than ever” after months of quarantining with each other in London. “They love being low-key together and have very similar interests,” the source said. “They are truly inseparable and in love.”

Pattinson, who was previously engaged to musician FKA Twigs and famously dated his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart for three years before that, spoke to the Sunday Times in April 2019 about why he purposely keeps his love life private now.

“If you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall it ends up better,” he said. “I can’t understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it’s the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo. The line between when you’re performing and when you’re not will eventually get washed away and you’ll go completely mad.”

Looks like one very chic and cigarette-filled wedding is coming our way. Let’s just pray this notoriously private pair gives us a glimpse at the dress at the very least.
