Since October 3, 2016, there were daily updates on Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris; footage of the thieves fleeing had been released, Kardashian was spotted in public for the first time, the jewellery had reportedly been melted down, the hotel concierge gave his first interview. Filming ceased on Keeping Up With The Kardashians while security was reportedly increased to presidential levels. Now, in a new sneak peek of the upcoming season 13 of KUWTK, Kardashian talks about the traumatic moment she was forced to make a decision over whether to run down the stairs and risk getting shot in the back as the thieves dragged her out into the hallway of the hotel in the wee hours of the morning. No matter whether you agree with the 35-year-old mother telling her tale on her television show, no woman should ever have to face what she did on that night.

“They dragged me out on to the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day,” she tells sisters Khloe and Kourtney in the clip below.

“I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs. I was like, ‘I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision’. Like, am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back? It makes me so upset to thinking about it. But like either they’re going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don’t, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then like I’m f*cked. There’s no way out.”
