After a year so dramatic and tumultuous it almost defies belief, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West seem intent to restore some normalcy to their lives.
The couple kept a popular US Christmas tradition by attending a performance of the Nutcracker ballet in Los Angeles on Friday night. Kimye took their three-year-old daughter North, and they were also joined by Kourtney Kardashian and her daughter Penelope, with the group all getting a VIP invitation backstage after the show.

Kim wore an oversized red hoodie with heels, the shapeless style one she has favoured for almost every public outing she’s made since being robbed at gunpoint in Paris on October 3. It has been reported the 36-year-old intended to adopt a more low-key way of dressing after withdrawing from the attention-seeking lifestyle she led for years but abruptly pulled away from following the incident in Paris.
The couple haven’t let their struggles, which also include Kanye West’s hospitilisation and reported ongoing mental health issues, dampen their festive cheer – they absolutely went to town with Christmas lights for their Bel Air mansion.
