Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were one of the world’s most photographed couples until Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October. After almost daily public appearances together for months, Kimye suddenly shifted gears and had not been seen together since she returned to the US from France … until now.
Amid concern that their marriage is under serious strain following the robbery, Kanye’s hospitalisation and then his recent alignment with Donald Trump (Kim had said she would vote for Hillary Clinton) the couple may have wanted to put the rumours to rest, because they went out for dinner at Giorgio Baldi in LA’s Santa Monica neighbourhood on Sunday night, as photos published by TMZ show.

The restaurant is a known celebrity hot-spot with paparazzi keeping a constant presence outside, so it appears the couple wanted to put up a united front against the speculation about their marriage. Although after Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian’s dramatic social media meltdown on the weekend when he discovered fiancé Blac Chyna had left him and taken their one-month-old daughter Dream, attention has shifted away from Kim and Kanye, at least for now.
Kimye also showed off the extravagant Christmas decorations at their Bel Air mansion without doing it themselves – they invited Kim’s long-time friend Jonathan Cheban around to document the display and share videos on social media – maybe a deliberate move to tell the world it’s all happy families at Kimye HQ, without looking like they’re trying to.
