She’s had a tryst with the lob, flirted with the bob, and had a brief dalliance with platinum blonde but now Kim Kardashian-West has debuted another new hair look. Always one to embrace change, the style maven goes under the chopping block and emerges with a sleek, asymmetrical, collar-bone grazing long bob. Celebrity hairdresser Chris Appleton – who is also the man behind the hair transformations of Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and Christina Aguilera – created Kim’s cut, opting for chic, blunt-cut ends before taking to Instragram to spread the news.

True to her bombshell, Los Angeles roots, Kim’s is usually one to favour long, layered looks so this latest, blunt-cut marks a significant hair shift for the reality tv star. Might Kim’s new choppy do, signify the re-emergence of the lob? Or was she simply inspired by her sisters Kendall and Khloe, both of whom have lopped off their own long lengths at the hands of family-favourite hairstylist, Jen Atkin (who is currently working with Cara Delevignene on the Suicide Squad press tour) You know what they say… Three’s a trend and we’re eagerly waiting for the next set of locks to drop.
