Concert-goers at Drake’s Chicago show on Wednesday night got one hell of a surprise when Kanye West made an unannounced appearance on stage.

The rapper performed a mash-up of his tracks Pop Style, Father Stretch My Hands and Famous – and took the opportunity to address his feud with Taylor Swift, which was reignited after Kim Kardashian Snapchatted videos of Kanye and Taylor’s phone conversation about Swift being called a ‘bitch’ in the latter track.

“All I gotta say is, I am so glad my wife has Snapchat,” West told the crowd, as seen in fan footage posted on social media.

“And now y’all can know the truth,” he continued. “And can’t nobody talk sh*t about Ye no more!” he yelled, looking utterly overjoyed as he launched into the controversial line about Taylor.

The Life Of Pablo artist’s comments come as Kanye and Kim also address the feud in a new interview with US Harper’s Bazaar. The couple were asked “What’s your favourite Taylor Swift song?” to which the rapper replied “For me? I don’t have one.”

Kim wasn’t quite so diplomatic with her response, saying “I was such a fan of hers.”

It’s no wonder Kanye seemed to be in such a good mood at the Drake show. This week Famous received two MTV Video Music Award nominations, and his new campaign for Balmain, in which he stars alongside Joan Smalls, was also released.

Meanwhile, his nemesis Taylor Swift didn’t receive a single nomination at the VMAs, and although this was likely down to the timing of her most recent releases, there’s no doubt Kanye is reveling in it all the same.
