Emma Watson kicked off her press tour for Beauty and the Beast in Paris over the weekend by surprising guests at the first public screening. Lucky them! In true Watson style she looked flawless in an Oscar de la Renta bustier and trousers, the first of many outfit changes for the junket. But as a welcomed surprise to the audience playing at home, Watson has detailed her initial outfit changes on a new eco-friendly and fashion-forward Instagram account.
Aptly named after her current trip @the_press_tour will curate her outfits to fans over the next few weeks while she attends many a party and premiere. Being the powerhouse she is Watson is playing homage to sustainable and ethical fashion along the way. Like we needed another reason to like this girl!
The 26-year-old actress has always been a vocal supporter of ethical fashion choices and will now chronicle the design journey through colourful swatches, sketches, mood boards and behind the scenes photos and videos. In her chic first post, Watson gave a nod to Stellar McCartney’s commitment to “producing products that do not use leathers, skins, feathers or fur,” while she sported one of the designers coats in chilly Paris.
Twenty-four hours in and Watson has gained a cult following with over 250000 followers watching on. Judging by the first three posts, we’re in for a lot more fashion savvy viewing.
