After a lavish wedding ceremony in England in July, Ciara and Russell Wilson are celebrating another milestone in 2016: the singer announced on Tuesday that she’s pregnant.
Celebrating her 31st birthday with her NFL quarterback husband, the 1,2 Step singer revealed the news via an Instagram post, sharing a photo of she and Wilson with his hands on her stomach.

“On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family.. and I’m excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give,” she wrote, with some baby-related emojis just in case anyone missed the point.
Meanwhile Wilson shared the same photo, describing the pregnancy as “The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay.
It’s Ciara’s second child; she co-parents son Future Zahir, two, with her rapper ex, Future.
The couple were public about the fact that they remained celibate until their wedding day on July 6, so it appears Ciara fell pregnant within a couple of weeks.
